You can change the Zoom font by going to the accessibility setting. If you want to adjust the font in Zoom, you can either increase or decrease the text and chat display size. Furthermore, you can customize your name font in Zoom through font-generating sites.
#1: Increase caption size

You can make the font size bigger in Zoom. Here’s how:
- Open the Zoom app on your computer.
- Go to the upper right side of the screen.
- Click the Settings icon below your profile picture.
- Select Accessibility in the left sidebar.
- Adjust the size of the closed captions to normal, medium, or large.

- Open the Zoom app on your computer.
- Go to the upper right side of the screen.

Furthermore, here’s a shortcut for Windows users:
- Press CTRL+ to increase chat display.
- To decrease it, press CTRL -.
For Mac users, the shortcut is to press Command + and Command -.

I’ll show you how to do it with the steps below:
- Open your Internet browser.
- Go to www.Google.com.
- On the search bar, type text generator.
- Click the first item that appears in the Google search.
- You should be directed to a site called Fancy Text Generator.
Next, these are the things to do to stylize your name font:
- Type your name on the white box that says, “Normal text goes here”.
- Wait for the text to generate various fonts on the next box.
- Copy the font style that you want.
Now, to use the font in the Zoom app:
- Open the Zoom App on your desktop.
- Click Join Meeting.
- On the name bar, delete your name and paste the copied new font.
“What if I’m already inside the meeting?”
Here’s how to change the font of your name if your Zoom meeting has started:
- Go to the bottom of the screen.
- Click the down arrow beside the share screen button.
- From the menu, select rename.
- Paste the new font on the bar.
- Click Ok to confirm.
Changing the font in Zoom Whiteboard (A new feature)
Aside from screen sharing, Zoom has a new way to collaborate with users.
This exciting feature is called the Whiteboard.
It’s a virtual drawing board where everyone can contribute and write their ideas.

Plus, it’s easy to navigate. Here are the steps:

On a Zoom Meeting
- Open the Zoom app on your computer.
- Click Start a meeting.
- Choose Whiteboard on the meeting controls.
- Select New Whiteboard.
- Click the arrow next to All Participants can edit to choose what participants can do.
- Choose Open and Collaborate.
On the Zoom desktop client
- Open the Zoom app on your computer.
- Log in with your account details.
- Click the Whiteboards button in the upper right corner.
- Choose +New to create.
On the Zoom web portal
- On the search bar of your browser, go to www.zoom.com.
- Sign in with your Zoom account.
- At the top, click on Whiteboards.
- Choose +New in the upper right portion to create a new whiteboard.
Now that you have created a Whiteboard for your meeting, you can now share it with others.
Here’s how to send the Whiteboard to other users:
- Go to the top right and click the Share button.
- Type the email addresses of the users that you want access to.
- Or, you can choose Copy Link and share this link with others in the chat box.
Furthermore, here’s how to change the font on the Whiteboard:
- Go to the left side of the screen.
- Select the text or T tool.
- Click on the Whiteboard and type your text.
- To change color, click on the text and select color from the color palette.
- Increase the text size by choosing a text size from the size bar.
