#1: Power on your soundbar

Connect the power adapter to your soundbar. Then plug it in a wall outlet.

After this, press the “Power” button on your device or on its remote.

And then…

#2: Tap and hold the “Bluetooth” and “Volume Down” buttons

Like I said earlier, there’s no single reset button on a Vizio soundbar.

But, there’s a certain button combination that can activate it.

And you could even factory reset the Vizio soundbar without a remote.

“How?”

Press and hold the “Bluetooth” and “Volume Down (-)” buttons on your soundbar at the same time.

Note: Keep in mind that by doing this, you’ll be erasing all the saved settings on your device. So it’s like you’re bringing it back to its original factory state. And you have to set up everything again after this.

Next…

#3: Hold them for about 5 seconds

After pressing the buttons, continue holding them while counting to 5.

The time may vary by a few seconds in other models. Either less or more.

However, 5 seconds was stated in the official Vizio soundbar manual. So it’s the usual waiting time.

Then lastly…

#4: Release the buttons and wait until the LEDs blink thrice

This means that the process is already done. So this is the only way to know whether you did the right thing or not.

Then as a last step…
