And now that’s clear, here’s the 1st exciting fact about the app:

#1: You can only cast the Pro version of Saavn

Saavn is a free online streaming service from India.

However, you can only Cast this app if you subscribe to their premium or Pro plan.

With that said, if you want to connect Saavn to your Chromecast…

You need to spend a bit of money monthly.

Unfortunately though…

Chromecast isn’t compatible with Chromecast.

That said, you won’t be able to use this AI to command your Chromecast to launch Saavn.

5 steps to cast Saavn to Chromecast using a smartphone

#1: Set up your Chromecast

Plug your TV and your Chromecast into their power sources.
Turn your TV ON.
Change the TV’s input to the Chromecast’s HDMI port.
Download the Google Home app (iOS and Android) on your phone.
Sign in to the app using your Google account.
Click the plus (+) button and select Set up device > New device.
Select your Chromecast’s name.
Follow further on-screen instructions.

#2: Launch the JioSaavn app on your phone

If you don’t have the app yet, here’s how you can…

Download the Saavn app to Android:

Turn ON your device.
Head to its Google PlayStore.
Type “JioSaavn” on the search bar.
Select the official app from the results.
Click the Install option.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Wait for the process to be completed.

Note: Exact steps may vary depending on your Android device.

Download the iOS Saavn app:

Turn your iPhone ON and launch the App Store.
Tap the search icon at the bottom.
Click the search bar at the top.
Type “JioSaavn.”
Select the official app.
Click the blue GET button.
Select Install.
Input your credentials if needed.
Wait for the app to be downloaded.

Tap the Saavn tile on your device’s home screen, and…

#3: Click the Cast icon inside the app

And ensure that you’re subscribed to the Pro version. Because otherwise, you won’t be able to cast the app to your TV.

Select the Cast icon at the upper-right corner of your app’s screen.

#2: Launch the Chrome browser on your PC

Turn ON your laptop or PC and open up Google Chrome.

However, bear in mind that Google Chrome works best with Chromecast. Because they’re from the same company.

So if possible, use the Google browser.

#3: Head to JisoSaavn’s website

Tap the search bar of your browser.

And head to www.jiosaavn.com.

Now, wait for the website to load, and sign in to your account.

#4: Cast your browser

Tap the 3 vertical dots icon on the upper-right corner of Google Chrome.
From the window that appears, select Cast.
Tap the Sources dropdown menu.
Select Cast Tab.
Wait for the blue Cast icon to appear in the upper-right corner of your browser.

#5: Select any music

Any tracks you’ll play on the Saavn website now will also appear on your Chromecast.

So feel free to enjoy any music you want.

That said, if you want to stop Casting your device…

Just click the Cast icon at the top of your browser. And it’ll immediately stop.
